We are currently carrying out lots of work at schools in West Yorkshire creating community gardens which include timber planters of varying sizes, tables and bird tables all within a secure fenced enclosure. This is intended to encourage community cohesion by allowing parents and pupils to look after their own plot. It also teaches the children about healthy eating and shows them how to reduce their carbon footprint by growing their own food.
